Famous Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has led some Nigerians to the Federal High Court in Apo, Abuja to demand justice for a four-year-old girl named Khloe, who was allegedly raped by a 40-year-old man, Idris Ebiloma, in 2016.
The screen diva who first discussed about the case of child molestation on social media, revealing that the man named as Idris Ebiloma abused the little girl when she was four years old.
The man was initially sent to prison, but he is set to be released on Friday.
The protesters are urging the court to send Idris to life imprisonment.
However, the case has now been adjourned till the October 3rd to enable both prosecutor and defendant to gather more evidence, according to a new update shared on Instagram by the actress.
“I am so proud of us all,” writes Tonto Dikeh. “KHLOE’S case was adjourned to October 3rd for both the prosecutor and defendant to tender more evidence. However, Idris goes back to prison at the moment!” The mother of one adds.
She ended the post with the campaign’s hashtag, “#JUSTICEFORKHLOE”.
