Pastor E.A Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has finally reacted to the recent rape allegations by Busola Dakolo against pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo.

On Friday 28th June, the wife of popular singer Timi Dakolo accused the founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly COZA, Biodun Fatoyinbo, of sexually abusing her twice when she was 17-years-old.

During the Friday Holy Ghost monthly all-night service on 5th July, Pastor Adeboye said,  “when you find yourself facing useful lust, the bible says Flee which means run as a terror.”

He started off the church service stating that he will not comment on the recent rape scandal in the church because RCCG belongs to CAN and the president has already spoken and these were the reasons he refused to comment on the matter.

During the service, Pastor Adeboye felt the need to counsel the young and upcoming ministers of the gospel purely come from biblical perspective.

He said: “When you see a sister smiling at you in a funny way, run. Run! Run. Run as a terror. Don’t say I am a great man of God and I am highly anointed.” He also asked believers to look t the story of Samson.

Pastor Adeboye, who describes himself as an old fashion preacher stressed that he will never have a private woman secretary because when a woman accuses you of something, nobody is going to listen to you, he said they will listen to the woman.

Talking about the evidences and witness that everyone is looking for, he said that they will ask for sister to bring the witness forward he said, ‘do they invite people to such things.’

According to Pastor Adeboye, when the accused begins to wonder how it can be, and everybody will say how can it be you that she has mentioned of all the men, referring to other pastors who abuse women.  

He closed his remark on the issue by saying: “I am old fashioned, but I was ordained in 1975, and I am still surviving. It is better to be old fashioned and live than to be modern and die.”

In a detailed interview session with YNaija, Busola narrated how the Man of God who is entangled with a lot of sexual assault-related cases, with Ese Walter’s own the most popular, allegedly raped Busola in her mother’s house while she was still a secondary school student.

Pastor Biodun is on absence of leave by the counsel his leaders, he also denied the allegations and now waiting for law enforcement to step in.
