Nigerian-born Temitope Ogunsemo, 33, is the founder and CEO of Krystal Digital, a fast-growing educational technology company that deals with creation, development, and usage of customized and service-oriented software applications for educational institutions in the country.
Founded in 2010 in Lagos, Krystal Digital’s flagship service, MySkool Portal, a web-based.
Krystal Digital’s initial startup, MySkool Portal was created to document and store data of institutions until they are needed for use and this process has been adopted in more than fifty public schools in Nigeria, and more than 65,000 students currently use it.
Tope Ogunsemo attended the prestigious Kings College, Lagos. He bagged a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the prestigious University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria.
He obtained an M. Sc degree in Information Management Systems from the famed University of Salford, United Kingdom.
Temitope has attended several professional and executive development courses in Nigeria and Abroad.
He is presently a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), Nigerian Internet Group (NIG), British Computer Society (BCS), a three-time delegate at the Young CEO’s Business Summit and a delegate at the 6th High-Level Dialogue held in South Africa.
He has received various awards including the Nigerian Technology Personality Award, ECOWAS Youth Council Award, the young CEO of the year 2018 Award, the Young Entrepreneur Award, and more recently a recipient of the Africa Icon awards in 2018.
Temitope Ogunsemo has been listed by Forbes in 30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs in Africa, the Confederation of West African also listed him as one of the 100 Most Influential young persons in West Africa, and more recently he was listed as one of the 100 most Influential youths in West Africa in the Personal Development & Academia niche.
