There was unrest at the Redeemed Christian church of God, Glory tabernacle at Ondo state recently when a judge apparently slapped a pastor and a church member because of noise pollution.
The Judge named Justice Omoleye Folayemi stormed the church during one of the church’s weekly program that usually holds between 10 am to 12 pm and started recording the whole service while lamenting about the volume of the noise.
When this was going on, a 68-year-old assistant pastor attacked the Judge and threw the phone away from her hand, prompting Justice Folayemi to jump on her. According to eyewitnesses, the Judge also slapped a pastor who wanted to join in the scuffle.
According to investigation, the Judge’s house is at close proximity to the church, and she has complained bitterly a lot of time about the noise that usually comes out from the church during their service without feedback from RCCG.
This was why she wanted to make a video of the whole service as a piece of evidence in the court before things got out of hand.
