Rev. Funke Adejumo has been accused of soliciting funds in Africa, Europe and in the US in exchange for miracles. The highly criticized pastor hosts an event called “Mother Summit” where she claims that God instructed her to collect seeds in monetary form at the end of each event.

Talk show host Mayowa Olaiya took on social media and initiated the petition on she wrote: “Funke Felix Adejumo is one of a group of Nigerian religious Charlatans who regularly visit the UK to defraud the people and the country. They ask people to sow seeds for miracles and breakthrough and flee from the country with the funds without paying tax. They go from Churches to churches; this is a religious cabal network.”

Despite the criticism, a hashtag #IStandWithFunkeAdejumo was launched by her followers and preacher like the daughter in law of late Archbishop Benson Idhaosa, Rev Laurie Idahosa on Instagram in support of her.

Interestingly the late Rev. Archbishop Ben Idahosa has said that any pastor who wears a collar and ask you to give 1000 is a business man.
